Questor is the working title I have given to this project, which involves the design and construction of a modular night-flying model airplane. My objective is to build a small model airplane that can break down into smaller, manageable pieces, and be carried in a lightweight custom backpack, or travel case, to allow the plane to be easily transported and/or carried into remote areas.

This project is as much about self-improvement as it is about building something new and fun to play with. A more serious application for a model of this design is one I hope to pursue, which is to carry aerial survey equipment into remote regions to scope out entrances to caves in exotic places like Peru.
